In conversations with clients, or family and friends, I’ll find myself talking about web design and using terms that I use in my every day worklife. I start seeing a blank expression, followed by a long pause and then I usually get a response like, “What does that mean?” or “What did you just say?” Every job has a different jargon that you learn over time through school or the workplace that you need to use in order to complete your job. How important is it that your site is efficient? Well let’s break it down and see. A customer comes to your site and wants to find out what it is that you do and if they are interested, they want to contact you. If your site is unorganized and they can’t find out specific services and then can’t find a contact page with your email or phone number, you’ve lost a sale. I would say having your site organized and efficient is pretty important. read more
