W3Mag Post: The Importance of Design in Online Marketing

marketing,social media,web design — by Shannon on October 29, 2010

colorwheelA post I wrote for W3Mag came out today: The Importance of Design in Online Marketing. From the post: Design is in all around us, on billboards, in print advertisements, on websites, etc. But it’s especially important online to think about good design, when you have so little time to make a quality impression. fun,web design — by Shannon on October 21, 2010

kitchenAs an avid cook, I love to try new recipes, and as a passionate designer I enjoy trying new styles and techniques. My love of cooking has inspired me to correlate the two very different disciplines, cooking and web design. holidayYou may be thinking, “It’s way too early to start thinking about the holidays!” But October is actually the perfect time to start planning. As many of you know sending out a holiday card is a great way to show your clients appreciation for their business. It’s also a great way to remind them about your services, and hopefully spark some interest in doing more business with you. If you’re creating a custom card (which creates a great extra special touch), you have to get them designed, printed, get your list together, and then stuff all your envelopes. design, logos — by Shannon on October 6, 2010
