A Study of Great Advertising: Print Ads From Coco-cola

design by Shannon Noack on August 16, 2010 | 0 Comments

cokeCoca-Cola is a company with a rich history. Since its creation in 1886, Coke has produced numerous print ads that have revolutionized the ad industry and inspired designers and customers alike. The classic logo and strong brand have remained consistent throughout time, adapting to the changing times and yet changing very little.

A successful company can be seen through powerful and consistent designs, something that can be seen in the many print ads I’ve gathered below. Enjoy!

The logo

The original Coca-Cola logo was created in 1886 by Frank M. Robinson, the soft drink creator’s partner and bookkeeper.

Today’s version is not far off from the original, which is a great testament on the strength of their brand and the company itself.
