Teamwork: When we all work together, we all win together.

Although they may be cheesy and the center point of a lot of ridicule, I think we can find some wisdom and business lessons from these motivational posters.

Determination: It is the size of one’s will which determines success.

Whether you’ve started your own business from the ground up, or you’re working for a corporation, you play a role in building that company. You help define its character and shape its role through your actions. Determination IS what determines success; we cannot achieve greatness without some blood, sweat and tears along the way.

As you would imagine, imagination and creativity are prevalent in the design field. However, it doesn’t have to stop with artistic careers. If you don’t believe in your product and your company, no one else will either. If you think your competitor is truly better, than find something to change about your company. Better your business and strengthen your products so you can believe in what you’re selling, customers will follow.

Goals: The higher the goals, the harder the climb – the sweeter the success.

Setting goals is definitely important for a business and anyone that wishes to move up in their chosen career. Without goals you don’t have anything to strive for, and without hard work you don’t have much to get you there.

Integrity: In matters of style, move with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock.

Integrity is important in business, how will your customers trust you to do your job if you don’t have integrity? Be honest, do what you say you’re going to do and your peers and customers will value you for it.
