New Website Launch: Cheer Up Cherup

new website launch | testimonial by Shannon Noack on April 6, 2011 | 0 Comments

cheerupcherup-thumb We just launched a new site this week, for Cheer Up Cherup, a wedding invitation design company. We worked with Cheer Up Cherup to complete the site, providing the code and development on the project.

Cheer Up Cherup creates beautiful and creative wedding invites for couples that want something special for their big day. They provide things for all budgets, so you can choose from ready-made invites or get something completely custom. Check it all out at the sunny new site for Cheer Up Cherup: cheerupcherup.com.

The New Site

Cheer Up Cherup provided the great design for this project and asked us to code it for them, getting it all set up in a content management system so they could easily edit the content and manage the site. The design itself is fun and playful and includes lots of great touches that can also be found in the design work for CUC as well.

Behind the Scenes

Cheer Up Cherup is setup with a great content management system that allows them to easily maintain their own site. They can add new text on each page, change out images in each of the rotating banners, and rearrange pages as needed.

The Details

collection

There are several image slideshows on this site, all run by jQuery and still editable in the cms. The collection page also has quite a bit of jQuery as well, allowing the whole thing to be on one page. When you click on a collection, the appropriate images are loaded and then start rotating through the slideshow. Check it out here.

Here’s what Alaina Cherup, owner of Cheer Up Cherup, had to say about working with Snoack Studios:

Working with Shannon was a breeze. She was quick to respond to my emails and questions and look into any problems. For someone who doesn’t know a thing about the back end of websites, this was super easy. The best part was that I was able to design the site myself and send Shannon the PDFs to implement. It looks just as I had hoped it would. Thank you!

Thanks Alaina! We enjoyed working on the project and are very pleased with how it came out. Head on over to CheerUpCherup.com to see the great wedding invitations they offer.
