We recently launched a design update for GeoComply, a tech-savvy company in Henderson, Nevada providing geolocation services to clients all over the globe. Their current site had nice bones but didn’t exemplify the company as a forward-thinking, technology-driven business that is on the forefront of geolocation trends. So we gave their old site new life with new fonts, a darker color scheme, new images throughout, and several other enhancements that brought their site up to speed with who the company is and where they’re headed. The biggest different you notice right away is the striking new background. It’s a dark metal texture that is really powerful, especially compared to the before screenshot. Images really stand out against that dark backdrop, and makes the whole site look more polished. We wanted images to have a big presence on the new site, as it helped elevate the design. So we added several technology-focused photos throughout, giving each page a more visual look. The homepage slider features 3 new photos, in a taller space that gives them more room to be seen. We incorporated a new font in the design as well, using the Google font Electrolize for headlines and quotes, which is a great tech-looking font that adds a lot of character to the site. Other small details throughout add a big punch including subtle shadows, hairline borders, alignment and layout changes, and more.

The subpages also saw a nice update, with new photos on most pages and a new and improved look for the sidebar, where you can see some of those shadow details come through.
