Custom tabs are a great way to add some color and personality to your Facebook Page’s otherwise bland interface. Even if your company colors are black and white, you still have a certain style that is your own and you can bring that style to Facebook, making your users feel right at home on your Page.

It’s also a great place to announce promotions & contests, describe your company to newcomers, and draw them in with things other than status updates. Get creative with it and make your new users feel welcome, or entice current users to get more involved.
